How much does it cost to list my property?

It is free to list. You will only pay a subscription fee after your first confirmed booking (£99/year).

How do I add my holiday home to Paws In Devon?

Fill out the host signup form and send your property details, we’ll then contact you and arrange the rest.

Do I need professional photos?

Professional photos are not required, but clear, bright images of each room and outside space will improve bookings. Aim for landscape shots and good natural light.

How do bookings work?

Guests book securely on Paws In Devon. You receive a confirmation and your calendar updates automatically.

How do I set house rules for guests with dogs?

Specify the number of dogs allowed, any restrictions (for example no dogs on furniture), and whether the garden is fully enclosed. These appear on your listing and in guest checkout.

What happens if a guest cancels?

You choose a cancellation policy per listing. It is shown to guests before booking and applied automatically by the system.

Do I need to allow unlimited dogs?

No. Most hosts allow 1 to 2 dogs. Choose what suits your property and state it clearly on your listing.

How do I get paid?

Payments are processed online and released to you 24 hours after the guest has checked in, minus the 1.5% (UK) credit card fee we have to pay.

Can I edit my listing later?

Phase 1 (starting out): we manage listings for you so everything looks consistent. Send updates and we will apply them. Phase 2 (as we grow): hosts will be able to log in and update pricing, photos, rules, and availability anytime.

Paws in Devon was founded by Gareth Chapman, a Fremington local and lifelong dog lover.

Right now we’re in our early days, bringing together a collection of hand-picked holiday cottages that genuinely welcome dogs. As we prepare to launch, we’re speaking with local hosts who share our passion for making North Devon the perfect place for people and pets to stay.

Our aim is simple: to create a trusted, dog-friendly platform that gives families and their four-legged friends a base for truly memorable holidays – while giving hosts greater visibility, helping them fill more bookings, and ultimately make more from their holiday homes.
